Playdate on Polk: A Neighborhood Joy Crawl
Events

On July 11, St. Paulus hosted two fun community events that opened the doors to future collaborations in our space!
In the morning, we hosted "The Commons," which included a session of meditation and breath work, followed by a cacao ceremony and sound bath. Participants also enjoyed custom matcha drinks and a discussion about dreams they have for their neighborhood and community spaces.
In the afternoon, St. Paulus was one of the stops for Playdate on Polk, where participants were invited to craft "campaign buttons" for the future of San Francisco, write cards to youth at Braid Mission, and reflect on what it means to be a good neighbor. Singers of the Street serenaded passersby with a concert on the sidewalk!
Both events were part of the Future of Us festival that was held across the city. Big thanks to Madeline Kaller for organizing St. Paulus's participation in this inspiring day!
