Hello to Pastor Rebecca
Updates
On June 7, 2026, we celebrated the installation of The Rev. Rebecca Edwards in a Rite of Invitation to Extended Service. Rebecca has been a minister in the Episcopal Church since 2011, and she has been serving at St. Paulus since January of this year. She is the co-founder and director of Braid Mission, a nonprofit ministry in the Bay Area that supports young people who have spent time in foster care and kinship care.
Bishop Jeff Johnson of the Sierra Pacific Lutheran Synod served as celebrant and The Very Rev. Eric Metoyer, Canon for Racial, Social, and Environmental Justice for the Episcopal Diocese of California, preached. Other local Lutheran and Episcopal clergy joined in the celebration.
