May 15, 1867 Congregation founded by Rev Jacob M Buehler 1880's Congregation forms mission parishes in San Francisco, Alemeda, Oakland, Sacremento, Saint Helena, Stockton, and etc ... April 1906 Over 10,000 people used the church as a homeless shelter and hospital after the San Francisco earthquake and fire. Aprill 11, 1920 Worship services first offered in English 1950's Extensive growth of school through the 8th grade. 1990 Parochial school closes. Novemebr 5, 1995 The historic Saint Paulus Lutheran Church is destroyed by fire. 1999 Reveran Daniel Solberg becomes Pastor.
