Pamela Dannenburg, Council President

Pam Dannenberg is President of St. Paulus Lutheran
Congregation. Pam came to San Francisco, CA as a single
mom in 1976 to raise her son Jeff, age 5, and daughter
Dawn, age 1, on the west coast. She wanted to be near
her parents who lived in Santa Maria and her sister who
lived in Novato. She went to work as an RN at St. Luke’s
hospital and became a member of Ebenezer Lutheran
Church. She later moved to Rohnert Park where she lived
with her children and worked at Santa Rosa Memorial
Hospital for 5 years. During this time she was a member
of Cross and Crown Lutheran Church.

While in Rohnert Park she started dating Larry
Dannenberg, who was already a member of St. Paulus
in San Francisco. They married in the wonderful grand
St. Paulus Lutheran Church building that stood at the
corner of Gough and Eddy Streets on September 21, 1986.
What a grand day that was with a wonderful church service
and wedding celebration. She worked as the Industrial
Nurse at Hills Bros. Coffee Company in San Francisco.
This job grew into a corporate-wide safety and health job
where Pam eventually became the Loss Control Manager
for 16 plants nationwide. During this time the Hills Bros.
Coffee Company became Nestle Beverage Company.
When Nestle decided this division belonged at their
headquarters in Glendale, Pam decided to stay in San
Francisco and became Risk Manager at St. Luke’s
Hospital. Later she branched out on her own and did
some health and safety consulting. Currently she is the
Occupational Health and Ergonomic Services Manager for
EK Health Company and does a lot of ergonomic and
training work for the team of people that she leads.

Council President, Pam Dannenburg

Pam has been a member of the Lutheran Church since
bitrth and interestingly has been a member of several
synodical groups including ALC, TALC, LCA, AELC and
ELCA. She has been a member of St. Paulus since 1986.
She has also wanted to help others all of her life and has
wanted to help preserve our earth and been a recycler since
1968. Her children are now in their 30’s and she has one
grandchild, Mahkayla age 2 and two step-grandchildren,
Ayanna and Talisynn, who are 11 and 14. These are the
children of Dawn and Diev who live in Santa Cruz, CA. Jeff
and Carol live in Antioch, CA. So she
gets to see her family fairly often.

Currently Pam is also a member of the St. Paulus LOC, SFOP and PICO, as well as of the Friends of the Western Addition Computer Technology Center (WACTC).
Professionally she is also a member of BAER, CECRAOHN, CSAOHN, and AAOHN. Her greatest wish is to grow deeper in her personal relationship with God and to help St. Paulus grow. St. Paulus has a unique ministry and many lives have been touched by this ministry. We feel we are here for a purpose and hope that you will also be touched by God and find the joy of living in the Spirit of God. Pam Dannenberg pamdannenberg@msn.com 415-824-4279
