Saint Paulus Lutheran Church is being reborn.
Once a vibrant impacting part of the city
of San Francisco,
St. Paulus Church has been largely off the radar since its beautiful church building fell to a fire that left it in ashes.

Now, St. Paulus is going in directions it's never
seen before. On June 1st, 2007 St Paulus Church
moved out of the 930 Gough St. site to begin
worship at 1286 Fillmore St. the site
of the St. John Coltrane African Orthodox Church.
Office location is at 950 McAllister.

Sunday, May 27th, 2007 once the last service on the site in which we worshiped for 140 years.

The 10 AM service culminated with a march to the new location and was lead by Pastor Dan Solberg
and Bishop David Mullen
of the Sierra Pacific Synod ELCA.

As we continue to serve the area of San Francisco,
we hope to be able to bridge the gap between
our past and future, being to this city a place where
people can find a genuine community
committed to proclaiming
the Lord Jesus Christ as our leader,
out brother and ultimately, our savior.
